It all began in an intimate Airbnb accommodation in Dunkheld fondly named “Salt Creek Cottage.” This is the perfect base camp for any elopement couple to spend their time before getting ready together. A warm and homely stay where they can share a moment of excitement and joy before heading up into the wilderness.
It was an amazing experience being able to capture those moments of adventure and genuine connection amidst the incredible landscape. Eloping in the Grampians National Park can be a beautiful and memorable experience. Nestled in the state of Victoria, Australia, the Grampians offer breathtaking natural scenery, abundant wildlife, and a sense of tranquillity that makes it an ideal location for an intimate wedding or elopement.
We began our journey with a hike up Hollow Mountain, where we were met with sweeping views, rugged red rocks and intriguing caves! It was the perfect spot to take in the incredible sights of the park and explore the unique terrain.
We then made our way to Mount William, where we hiked to the highest point of the Grampians and watched the sunset roll in and paint everything in a golden light. It was as if time stood still, providing the most glorious backdrop for our couple. It was a romantic moment in the midst of nature, and there was no need for anything else!
As I look back on this experience, I’m reminded of the power of intentional, real, and genuine moments. It’s about capturing the essence of a couple and their love story.
